Touch Me Again Also Issued as Kiss Me Again

Dedication to something is really important. So I'thou really dedicated to spending my vacation to watching Thai series. Now, I've known that Kiss is followed past Kiss Me Again. I often saw at the comments that people watched it in the incorrect guild. What I constitute interesting was that many believed that the ideal fashion of watching it was Kiss Me Again, Buss, Our Skyy EP 4, and Dark Blue Kiss. Chronologically, that would be logical. However, I watch movies and series based on their release date. That's why fifty-fifty if I just knew the MCU just at present, I'd withal watch Iron-Man starting time before Captain America: The First Avenger, fifty-fifty if the latter'southward plot occurs before the onetime.

I just institute it pitiful that some people spotter series "just for the BL parts." I experience like it'south unfair, merely at the same time, it's their pick. Every bit a person who never wants to miss anything, I try my hardest to watch an unabridged series, even the cringiest and most annoying parts. Also, in that location may be important plot points that bear over to the next function of the series.

NOTE: This series is no longer available in GMMTV'due south YouTube channel.

Synopsis

Before Sandee and Sanrak wrote their love stories, their older sisters had their stories likewise. Dress designer Sansuay (Pango Jintanutda Lummakanon) is now working once again with Then (Earth Pirapat Watthanasetsiri), her ex-boyfriend. No matter how much she tries, she can't help simply bring up their past. Sanson (Thanaerng Kanyawee Songmuang) is investigating if her long-time friend, Matt (Mond Tanutchai Vijitvongthong), is gay or not. She wastes no time and does everything in her ability. Sanwan (Fon Sananthachat Thanatpatpisal) has been ready by her female parent on a histrion, R (March Chutavuth Pattarakhumpol), to date him. However, she is reluctant due to her commitment to studying and R's reputation. The three older sisters take their human relationship drama along with challenges they face in work and school.

Meanwhile, Kao (New Thitipoom Techaapaikhun) finally enters university, where he inadvertently meets Pete (Tay Tawan Vihokratana), his former schoolmate whom he had clashes with. Being in the same group as Sandee, Thada, and June, they attempt their best to not disharmonism with each other. However, everything changes between the two when one accident occurs.

My Review and Thoughts (Spoilers!)

I could say with certainty that Kiss Me Again is better than Kiss: The Serial. The acting of the actors was ameliorate and I felt them more. The show has four main send couples, which I personally recollect is too much. Some shows prefer focusing on one main couple, along with up to 3 to four side couples, such as SOTUS, SOTUS South, and 2gether. Having 2 main couples (plus one to two side couples) is fine, such as Dark Blue Kiss. Iii main couples is nonetheless manageable. Just beyond that, balancing the exposure and plot of each couple is difficult, unless the story is well-developed.

The OST is better, and I like that the background music tracks that sometimes play in the groundwork are derivatives of the OST. However, they seemed to play also frequently, even in situations where they weren't needed.

It seems like Sansuay is the oldest amongst the sisters (I'thousand not certain though). Amid the three, she was the almost desirable for me. In the beginning of the series, I was annoyed by her unprofessional attitude. She couldn't split her personal life from work life simply because she got to piece of work with her ex, So. I mean, she kind of body-shamed Nicole, So's girlfriend back then, and even caused a scene where she refused to apologize fifty-fifty when she was the one who started it. She fifty-fifty admitted to being prejudiced against So.

So and Sansuay discuss the date of their next photo shooting. Screenshot from GMMTV's YouTube channel.

I didn't accept much problems with So, except that sometimes he could go pushy with Sansuay. In their storyline, it was Sansuay who was often the disharmonize maker. So was, most of the fourth dimension, just doing his task. He was, however, unnecessarily jealous of Sansuay when Win was talking to them. I mean, he withal had Nicole, but it didn't give him the right to talk to Win so rudely.

Withal, So and Sansuay's relationship was the healthiest amid the three sisters', although I still wouldn't call it healthy. At least their human relationship had something of an ballast: they used to be in a relationship but they broke up. So it was mostly a matter of reviving the old flame and irresolute of behaviors.

Their storyline was the 2d all-time out of the four, from my own perspective. Information technology wasn't exciting only information technology was decent. Though Sansuay was an annoying narcissist at the beginning, her character improved quicker than either Sanson and Sanwan. Pango and Earth's chemistry was also good—the best among the straight couples; they looked good together, though I recognize that this wasn't the stance of many viewers. I constitute the scene where So and Sansuay decided to endeavour over again as a couple as romantic, added bonus that it was Sansuay'due south birthday.

So is overjoyed that Sansuay has given him another hazard on her birthday. Photograph courtesy of GMMTV.

Amongst all the older sisters, Sanson was the most annoying and just similar Sanrak, I couldn't stand her. Every time I saw her, I kept rolling my eyes at her personality. The only matter I liked about Sanson was that in her investigations, she e'er made sure that she had 100% proof. Other than that, nothing.

I've e'er felt that her character was the emptiest among the sisters. She only wanted to show that Matt was gay by doing the most unbelievable and virtually annoying things, such as making him and his friend Pat concord hands and wait at each other, intentionally watching a BL series (Senior Secret Love: Puppy Dearest 2 to be verbal) loudly in front of the two, and even letting random sexy women impact Matt while he was drunk! I mean, that was sexual harassment! When she sent a buffed guy to talk to Matt and he did, she really took information technology equally an evidence to support her theory, along when he didn't let the women bear on him. She was then annoying!

Sanson takes a picture of Pat and Matt while they hold hands. Photo courtesy of GMMTV.

I knew that Matt was just being kind to her just because they were close friends when they were kids, only come on. Even if yous're a human, don't allow whatsoever woman do that to you. Being a straight man does not equate to sleeping with whatsoever random woman. There's something chosen dignity, something Matt has simply non Sanson.

And then, we become to find out that Sanson was stupid enough to practice this because in addition to her thesis, Matt'south mother would reward her a automobile if she was able to evidence that Matt was gay. What a stupid catch for Sanson and a toxic mother! Her son is a freaking developed and a successful one! His sexuality is no 1's business but his.

Afterwards challenge that her son "damaged" Sanson's reputation, the female parent wants Matt to "take responsibleness". Photo courtesy of GMMTV.

Even when Matt had shown his disappointment and a scandal well-nigh them had spread, Sanson fifty-fifty had the guts to compete with Pat for Matt's feelings. Similar what? Matt already saved her from Prize and that was what she did? Ridiculous!

Matt proves his feelings for Sanson by "kissing" her. Photo courtesy of GMMTV.

Prize was a creepy character whose simply purpose was to testify Sanson's oh-so-deep secret. Angie was a useless character, whose absence won't even affect the plot.

Many viewers would agree with me that Matt ending with Pat was a lot ameliorate than with Sanson. I hateful, they had a ameliorate chemistry as friends compared with Sanson when she was already Matt's girlfriend or even before that. I felt that the relationship build-upwardly was too rushed, because what Sanson did to Matt.

R and Sanwan's relationship was not cute at all! It was calumniating. It was sickening. It was icky! Similar to Sanrak, Sanwan was weak, often lacking assertion. That could take been fine if information technology was the beginning, merely the development took and then long that it became annoying. She had positive values though: putting studies before a relationship and having principles, just like me. R is a dangerous kind of man. He harassed Sanwan, both physically and sexually. He forced her to do things she didn't want. For the near office, he didn't care about her well-being at all! What a creep! As a doctor, a freaking medical doctor, he does not deserve his license for his disgusting beliefs towards Sanwan.

And seeing viewers saying that their relationship was cute was as well revolting to me. Really? A relationship that was congenital from harassment? At least Tharn and Type's relationship in TharnType had a point where Tharn apologized. Only I never saw R apologize for his past deportment, even justifying that Sanwan was being annoying and a crybaby! How could y'all find this romantic?

Aye, he saved her from Wayu twice, getting stabbed even at the 2nd time. Just R's personality changed little. He notwithstanding treated her like how a submissive wife should be. Even so, at least he (kind of) had genuine feelings for her in the terminate and eventually agreed to Sanwan's demand to have things slow. What I kind of didn't sympathise was why those feelings didn't interpret much into actions. Yes, he sort of redeemed himself but comparing that to his actions on Sanwan, it notwithstanding wasn't enough for me.

Exactly 57 seconds after breaking upwardly with Sinee, R asks Sanwan to go out with him. Photo courtesy of GMMTV.

If that wasn't bad plenty, let me merely remind that this was co-bundled by her very ain mother. I feel so bad for her! Only because R's father is her friend doesn't give her the correct to directly meddle with Sanwan's life only to satisfy R! Her sisters did not even had that much concern on her. They already know that she wasn't into boys and however, they didn't ask her if she was doing okay or non, considering she was almost raped twice. Her "friends" were no help either. What kind of friends would give their friend to a person they've never met? What if that person had evil intentions? I hate how they romanticized R's harassment and abduction of Sanwan by putting funny and even romantic music! Repugnant!

Sinee was another villainized woman. If she actually had logic, she would have seen that even with what R was doing, Sanwan would never fall for him. And what a hypocrite she was when she was actually two-timing with Wayu! 1 thing that I found positive on Sinee was that unlike Sanwan and some of the female characters, she has an believing character, though it doesn't excuse her character.

I never found and I volition never find R and Sanwan'due south story equally romantic.

In the cease, among the 5 San sisters, the most mature and nigh desirable for me is Sandee. Even if she is the youngest, she acted as the most assertive and most contained among the five.

Pete and Kao'south relationship as well wasn't healthy from the beginning. They started out equally enemies, when Kao accidentally involved himself in a fight involving Rain and Pete. Their characteristics were very much contrasting. While Kao was oft placidity, barely expressive, smart, gentle, and very helpful, Pete was violent, foul-mouthed, struggles in his studies, and even aggressive. No, he didn't notice trouble; problem plant him.

Pete was also unreasonable sometimes. Like Sansuay, he sometimes took things personally. I even felt sad for Kao being estranged in the Gang and even in grouping works. He even hit Sandee and June when he lost his temper while they were talking. Pete'southward indecisiveness over Mint was likewise an issue that afflicted their friendship later on.

Nonetheless, compared to the San sisters, the development of Pete and Kao's friendship was comparatively healthier, although not without violence. Certain, that kiss was a cliché, only it was the root of their renewed hatred (Pete's way of denying his initial feelings), friendship, and later, romantic relationship. But because their story somehow incorporated themes of self-discovery and confusion, there was more to their relationship in comparing to Sanwan'due south and Sanson'south.

Mint had her bad and good moments. Mint going back to Pete because she still loved him fifty-fifty though she was the first 1 to interruption up with him was weird, but information technology's considering of that that Pete realized how he felt with Kao. When Mint was budgeted Kao, Pete knew that he felt something for him. I did feel sorry for her when Pete got with her and broke upward with her in a very brusque time. Sending a photo of Kao and Pete kissing to Pete'due south father equally a form of revenge was so incorrect, but the silver lining was that his dad establish out. Pete deciding non to be friends with her again was a good decision to not hurt each other anymore.

What I found surprising was that whenever the San sisters would kiss with their partners, the kisses were either quick or shot far, sometimes fifty-fifty charily executed (Matt and Sanson's). Simply when it came to Pete and Kao, the kissing scenes were all-out and had considerable duration. That was odd, considering the prove'southward General Audience rating.

What I like about Kao is that he wasn't easily swayed by his feelings with Pete. He wanted Pete to evidence his sincerity first before agreeing to exist with him. That's a expert bulletin because information technology shows that Pete uses both his heart AND his caput when information technology comes to love; he has principles. Beingness with Kao, Pete had big changes to his character, such equally being kinder to Kao and his friends, being less fierce, and able to meliorate himself. This is also the reason why their storyline interests me more.

Although Sandee, June, and Thada were only supporting characters, information technology was fun to finally see how their gang began. It also gave me a clearer moving-picture show as to why Sandee didn't want to be romantically involved with Thada in Kiss a yr later. Information technology made me love June even more because of the way he just randomly invited people into his gang. He loves his friends, even creating a cheer. The start of the DeeDa ship was also shown.

It was as well bad that Sandee wasn't shown at all most the finish of the series. Nevertheless, Sandee is actually like the mother of the Gang, even until now, because she was always the conflict resolver. When Pete and Kao had their conflict, she didn't stop until it was resolved. She too made June and Pete reconcile. Too bad that this side of Sandee wasn't seen in Kiss.

I'm willing to bet my money that unanimously, all viewers would agree with me if I say that Pete'due south dad was ane of the all-time characters of this series. Not simply did he not force Pete and Kao when he knew from Mint. He also accustomed Pete and Kao'south relationship openly, proving to us that he cares for his son's happiness. I also understood him when he said to be careful. He did not say that because he was ashamed, but because he did not want the boys to be judged unjustly by prejudiced people. He'south the dad that every LGBT people deserves to accept! #SanaAll

Sun and Mork were also introduced in this series. Though Sun had a crush on Kao, he backed off when he saw him with Pete. Mork looking at Sun suggested something. Though they were of not much significance hither, their story continues on the next part, Night Blue Kiss.

There were some continuity issues that I found in relation to Osculation: The Series. The most obvious continuity effect is the building and location of Ordinariez, the shop run by the Sansuay which also serves as their residence. It'southward obviously a unlike building and is located in a different location. Two explanations: they couldn't use the quondam building they used in Kiss or, considering that this is a prequel, they moved to a new location the next year.

Ordinariez's building and location are different hither than in Kiss: The Series. Photograph courtesy of GMMTV.

Within the series, Kao's bedroom changed appearance also. In EP 2, we get to run into Kao's chamber and bed, which were bigger compared to the final time they were shown throughout the series. I'd still sympathize the Ordinariez building, simply Kao'south bed inverse inside the run of this serial; it doesn't make much sense.

Kao reviews while drinking milk. This bed was just shown during the commencement half of the serial before it was changed into a smaller bed, forth with the room. Photograph courtesy of GMMTV.

There was also too many punching scenes amid the men; virtually every episode had one. The ending was rushed for the three sisters' storylines, just again, the number of main couples must be taken into account. I didn't retrieve that Sansuay's accident was necessary, to be honest, only of grade, it had to happen. I think the reason why the BL part of Kiss Me Again was more famous and easier to picket than the other storylines is that the others involved a partner being manipulative or uneasy to carry, peculiarly Sanwan'due south.

Takeaway Lessons

1. The Dangers of Parental Pressures

I felt sorry for Matt, Sanwan, and R (yes, even if I hate him) due to the fact that they were pressured past their parents against their wishes. This kind of treatment of parents to their children is, in my opinion, not correct. Parents should know that their children are not robots that they take to control all their lives. They volition eventually grow up and need to learn how to make decisions on their own. Remember, the children will experience their decision outset-handed. This is often a common Asian stereotype where parents often forcefulness their children to choose a higher program that the parents desire, rather than what the children want. In the end, the child won't exist happy because they didn't get to decide what they wanted.

As already mentioned, Matt'southward mother is so toxic. Remember that Matt is a fully grown human being with a stable chore as a dentist, notwithstanding here's his mother still meddling with his life choices! She even wanted Sanson to "plow Matt straight." His son'due south sexuality is none of her business organisation! Then what if her son weren't straight? Information technology does not reduce who he is. Just as y'all can't forcefulness a fish to climb a tree, y'all can't force a directly person to go gay and vice versa.

The San sisters' female parent was no better. She basically offered her daughter to a "forced marriage" with his friend'south son. Of all the people who should understand Sanwan, the mother should have been the almost qualified; she's a woman and she'southward her mother! If yous love your girl, why the hell would you lot forcefulness her to do something she doesn't similar? For money? For friendship? R'south father was the same also. Yes, he wanted to modify his son's player attitude, just come on! A woman isn't someone who should modify a man. A person should change by himself.

When Sanwan left, angered by the abrupt decision of R's male parent and her ain mother'southward inaction, R asks both for more than time. Photograph courtesy of GMMTV.

Family unit is everything. But honestly, if your family gives you lot more than harm and makes your life more toxic to the point that it destroys y'all mentally, the best fashion is to escape. This was the bespeak made in SKAM France/Belgique Season 5, where the school nurse finds out that the cause of Arthur'southward deafness was his calumniating father. Gear up it while you can, but if not, exit while you however can.

2. Violence Attracts More than Violence

I don't like fighting. I actually don't. That's why I would try to keep myself out of a conflict as much as I can, unless it involves something very important, such every bit my friends, family unit, etc. Now, I said it already that this show had really dandy passions for punching scenes. Looking past that, nosotros can learn that violence attracts more violence. If things could be resolved without throwing in slaps or punches, wouldn't information technology be ameliorate to do so?

Club owners beat up Mork, Rain, and Pete. Photo courtesy of GMMTV.

Mork was an case. Every time he and Pete met, they would clash. This even attracted the attention of the social club owners, who also crush them. Unnecessary violence doesn't bring any skilful. Information technology but creates more disharmonize and just injure all those involved. We should endeavor to resolve our issues by communication kickoff. Keep yourself away from unnecessary violence. It will just create more and more than problems, even alluring other fights to you lot.

Osculation Me Over again showed the stories of the three older San sisters, as well as Pete and Kao. Although there were bumps along the series, I found the serial good enough. For the adjacent function of this installment, we shall encounter how Pete and Kao navigate through their new relationship on Our Skyy EP 4.

Memorable Quotes

"Pete. Kao. Thada. Sandee. June. Our gang is then cool."

June's cheer (crude translation from Thai to English)

Which love story touched you the virtually? Do you besides wish that more people think as openly as Pete'due south dad?
